Thats right, Mario Sunshine was "better than expected" and Zelda was "Brilliant beyond comparison" yet neither won game of E3. So what did?

Metal Gear Substadance? GTA Vice city? Legend of Zelda: Advance? Doom 3?


Well and this should shut Strafex up, it was Metroid Prime... there its good ok!

My friend read the hands on play tests. They claim i retrains the old metroid feel. They say jumping's a bit fiddily but they have time to sort that.

Alright, I'll admit that it's probably a fantastic game.

It's simply not (by a long shot) the Super Metroid 3D I was hoping for.

How can I be sure that it's not Super Metroid 3D without playing it?
Well how would YOU make Super Metroid in 3D?
If you chose a pre-dominant first person view for that job then you clearly don't know your Metroid. (see my topic if you want to argue further)

Although I think that a Super Metroid in 3D would've been much more ground breaking, and that Metroid Prime wastes all of Samus' best qualities, I'm sure that Metroid Prime will be great for the first person game that it is.

Sorry but even though i'm a Nintendo fan I'm not convinced. It apparently isn't a huge game and it also seems to be just a little simple, thats all. And I think the market is flooded with simple (Gamecube) games. Sorry, but thats my opinion.

Although you could probably convince me its great. Im that sort of person. Have a go.

Except Mario Sunshine. That never was going to win. Its only hype cos it's Nintendo. Thats my opinion anyway
