the whole ranking system begs for this sort of thing to happen.
I agree with pointing out "just arrived" nicks, but beyond that, we should all be the same. making regular at 300 posts just encourages weak minded people to spam, and the whole voting system is horridly flawed unless you firstly introduce an electorate roll and secondly rules of conduct. Obviously putting either in place is blatantly world cup, and not necessary, so titles should go, be they newbie, regular or indeed notable.
The staff should keep some manner of title though, obviously.
