i did find the game dissapointing, but that's not to say it's not fun as is it is, the trouble I had was it's claim to be a tactical shooter, when it never really felt like it was. A fun action game, but I have plenty of fun action games already so Ghost Recon just doesn't appeal to me anymore.

The difference between getting a cheap game free and expensive one for free is, nothing. You get them both for free so why I should spend less time writing a reveiw for a cheap game than an expensive one I can't understand. Plus I like to be descriptive in my reveiws, which kind of makes tham all long and wordy.

i did find the game dissapointing, but that's not to say it's not fun as is it is, the trouble I had was it's claim to be a tactical shooter, when it never really felt like it was. A fun action game, but I have plenty of fun action games already so Ghost Recon just doesn't appeal to me anymore.

But are you happy to write such a lot when all you are getting in return is a rather cheap game? I know Ground Control is extremely good, but is it worth it for 800 words? I'd rather wait for new titles that cost a lot.

Well besides a few old games, I also have a couple of pretty recent titles I want to gwet rid of. There's Ghost Recon and it's add-on pack in a box set, which I liked I just don't play anymore, and Soldier of Fortune 2 as I have 2 copies of the game. One came free with my sound card, and I don't need two copies of the same game.

I think 800 words is the limit, I always write 'Big' reveiws for the site. Which reminds me, I've still to purchase the three games I was going to get from that sold-out deal, I was thinking Kingpin, Sacrifice and Giants.
And on a different note, I bought myself a coupld of new games today, The Thing and Morrowind. HMV have a gereat deal going on, 2 for £30 or £19.99 seperately. They had allsorts on offer, NOLF2, Aliens Vs Preditor 2 ect.. You can always trust HMV to have some great sale prices.
