Yep that's right, there's been scores of these starting up, but all have failed. Let's make this thread a place for PC gamers to chat. Post anything you like in here, comments, reviews, but no spam please.

OK, lets keep this going gamers. For beige box and country!!
Or something like that. :)

A good game in itself, but being the perfectionist I am, I can't let more than two men die each mission, so I have to keep restarting it every time they die. And it's not even a rare occasion, they seem to die within a few minutes every single mission.

Other than that I quite like it though. Loadsa realism is nice sometimes.

At last, have purchased and installed new hard drive 80Gb of space so now I can concentrate on some serious gaming! Will have to start installing some of the games I've been keeping to one side "to play later".

What of you think of it? Worth the wait? For me this is the first Rainbow Six game I own, I've always meant to get into the series, but never got around to buying either the original game or it sequels.

I like it so far, though there a points in the game where I feel like grabbing my keyboard and inserting it through my monitor, because there are annoying moments, such as the mission I'm on now where some of my commandos keep getting slaughtered.

Bah, still good fun though.

I got it on Friday. Had it pre-ordered as a GAD claim since late 2002.

Actually your up against a group of neo-fascist German terrorists who seem hell bent on getting their hands on some kind of documents left over from World war 2.

I think people are gonna buy it because they want to kill Saddam Hussein's wussy terrorist 'army'.

I got Rainbow six 3: Raven Shield today, and it's bloody hard as nails. I like how the developers have sold the game on the back of recent events in the real world with lines like "You Are Freedoms Answer to Fear" and "Do Not Compramise With Terror - Eliminate it" plastered on the back of the box, but I suppose it's just keeping with the setting of the game.

Sorry Hobs me old fruit. Not guilty! A mere coincidence which is a coincidence since the thread to which you referred me appears to be all about coincidences, coincidentally!

Apologies for the delay in responding, completely missed your post!
