I find that easier.
Obviously, I use a mouse for pedestrial stuff, but steering is stricly keyboarded.

Yup my mouse has 5 buttons too. I prefer WASD...but I can use the arrow keys if I have to, well for SA at least.

Yeah...is that bad? I find it pretty difficult.
I usually have everything contained around control/shift/return, the arrow keys, and the little block of Ins/delete etc. And I have a five buttoned mouse, so two of those buttons do various things such as reload, use... whatever. If I run out I use the left side of the numpad.
