I know you may get bored by my serious post but cut me some slack I cant write serious posts well.
I want to talk to you about you as gamers. We all love games on here and thats why we are here apart from mystique possibly. However us as a gamer world have one major fault. The vast majority of gamers are hypocrites.
I will explain for you. What are most people complaining about on this forum??
No not which console is better although that is the most talked about topic on here.
The answer is people are crying out for original titles. I hear you saying whats wrong with that and I will tell you the problems come when an original title comes along.
"Its too short"
"Epeleptic fit enducing"
"Short burst of fun nothing much after though"
This are a few comments people have said about an original title called REZ. If people are crying out for original titles dont you think people would say the game is"pushing the boundaries of games"
I think Hypocritcy is the second reason Sega Failed with the dreamcast. Sega are the most intuitive developers of the modern era. Even more than nintendo (sorry ninties) but because of these original titles (Jet Set radio anyone) only hardcore gamers bought the console thus it failed. Dont get me wrong Sega's advertising was quite pathetic.
If anywhere that has prospered from original titles its the PC format. I believe this is because Adults are more into PC gaming and the PC format is a stable "aint goin away anytime soon" format.
So I plead to people Wake up and accept Original Games or we will get Mario 35 and FIFA number 600 before the years end please dont be so hypocritical.
