I know everyone is going on about the consle war but does anyone actually have the figures of how many machines each company has sold?

Does anyone no when ninty are going to release their figures?

Do you think it matters how many they sell? If they all sell alot?

I expect that SR will run a story on it whenever any figures are actually released, so keep on checking "upwire". Or, you could keep on looking on each of the individual companies' web sites; or of course a multi platform one like:

*www.ign.com
*www.ps2/xbox/gamecube.com (separately of course!!)

I didn't get those GC numbers from anywhere, they were just a guess.

MS said they may be off their target of 6 million xbox's worldwide in June by as much as 40%. That was before the had a price cut in all parts of the world so we just have to wait and see.

I'm not sure and no-one really knows. Heres a rough guess on worldwide sales.

PS2- 30 Million
Xbox- about 3-4 million?
GC- 6-7million?

As I say they are very rough guesses and at first glance Xbox seams to be doing bad. Bear in mind this is MS first sttempt at a console and that PS2 has had well over a year and a half head start.
