So MS will carry on pouring millions into a dead horse? I know they're American, but surely even they know when to call it a day?
I don't think it matters how many each console sells, as long as none go under like the DC. The sales are probably most important for PS2 and X-Box:
PS2 - if they sell poorly it will be humiliating aswell as a massive boost for it's rivals
X-Box - if they sell poorly we may not see an X-Box 2. Or more games. Or any more financial backing.
However, if I know Billy half as well as I do then he won't give in at the first hurdle - or something like that!). And by the way, I don't know Bill Gates at all :-p
