LOL "WE?"
Fanboys...when will they learn?

True.
Rinoa’s incapability to spell and punctuate makes me wonder whether she passed junior school.
I don't consider the xbox or gamecube bad, both are good consoles. I just haven’t got a Gamecube as the games on the system don't appeal to me.

Okay - so a game of the series hasn't been done before, but the point I'm making is that the concept wasn't thought up brilliantly by a fantastic imagination, it was already there.
By original I mean things like Shigeru Miyamoto and 'Pikmin'.
LOL, anyway, the Xbox does have originals as well:

> Halo
> Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Yeah, I see your point. But Buffy The Vampire Slayer is hardly original.
At the moment I am contemplating buying a GameCube with my birthday money, mainly to play Resident Evil but there are a few games which I would like. My birthday is in October but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead! LOL, anyway, the Xbox does have originals as well:
Halo
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Hunter: The Reckoning
Project Ego
Midtown Madness 3
Shenmue 3
We can't really define an original game becuase every genre has been done before and with the exception of a few extras each game contains something which has been done before. Halo is very original becuase of the story involved and its the only FPS shooter I have played which has vehicles and where it restricts your character to only carry 2 weapons at a time.

And so, two ends of the spectrum. An X-BOX fanboy, and a GameCube fanboy.

Please, you are a disgrace to Nintendo fans in this forum. Tone it down a bit. Now I see why some X-BOX fans are so wary of Nintendo fans.

Oh excellent way to end your debate. I'm sure they really thought about your points.

Well done for putting her in her place, but just a few points:
1. Nintendo are the most innovative and original games company out there, so I'm sure anything they come out with will have that Nintendo magic.
2. Mario Sunshine - It's going to be a completely different game, so don't you worry.
3. Metroid Prime - Also a new game.
4. And some more original Nintendo titles:
Luigi's Mansion
Wave Race: Blue Storm
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Pikmin
1080 Snowboarding: White Storm
The Legend Of Zelda
NOTE: I know some of these are sequels, but if you play or read up on them, you'll see how original and innovative they really are.
