Now common, I come on here to talk about everything but Notables and what meets my eye? The forum filled up with post's about the Notable election rules, Who wants to be a Notable, Who's voting for who to be Notable and those annoying 'I WANT TO BE NOTABLE'! Threads.
Now about 90% of you who are doing this don't stand a chance of becoming a notable at all so I don't understand why you are chatting about it?!?
If you make good posts and you know you may be in with a chance then good for you, you may just get voted if people feel the same. if they don't then your not notable material. Making a topic saying why people should vote for you is stupid, I see it as spam.
If you've just joined...give up.
If you have any sense you'll shut up, stop spamming, talk about something else and just await the Notable election hoping someone takes pride in you being here. Not you taking pride in you being here.
This notable thing is a good idea, it improves the quality of the forums but the run up's to the elections are just sad.

If any do leave in a huff, they don't deserve to come back in my opinion! It's not like they'd actually gain anything by being a Notable!

For me it's just another excuse to draw funny pictures! Any event will do. It's the Queen's jubilee soon - might draw a special one for that.

I have done a campaign thread in the past, but I'm not a wannabe.

The topic that's made the most sense this week.
I was naive enough to do a crappy 'Vote Me' thread when I first came here. I've learned two things from that:
1: Making threads won't get you any votes (Unless the threads are very funny)
2: Being notable doesn't matter and only really effects your nam colour. Also, being a notable would suck, you'd feel pressured into staying on the forums.

I didn't actually campaign last night in the Ninty forum.
I wrote a pile of crap talking about cardboard GCs.
