Why don’t you get a cube?

My friend’s got an Xbox and he hates that piece,
He tells me everyday,
He says “Man I really gotta sell this beast”
In the worst kind of way.

It sits on the ground because its too overgrown,
To sit atop his bedroom T.V,
And this is just one reason why he wants to flog,
His damn Xbox off to me!

I won’t play, I wont play, No waaaaay!
Nah nah, why don’t you get a cube!
Only way, only way, only waaaaay,
Nah nah, why don’t you get a cube?

I guess all Bill’s money well it isn’t enough,
To keep all the sceptics at bay,
No matter how much he tries to pay his way in,
The ‘box will still fade away.

I won’t play, I won’t play, no waaaaay,
Nah nah, why don’t you get a cube,
Only way, only way, only waaaaay,
Is to go and get yourself a GameCube.

Well I guess it ain’t easy to play trash all day loooong, oh yeah!
But hey man, you’re the one who bought the console, now you pay.

My friends got a ‘station and she hates that scrap,
She tells me everyday,
She asks “Don’t suppose you’d wanna buy this crap?”
I say girl, there ain’t no way!

I won’t play, I won’t play, No waaaay,
Nah nah, why don’t you get a cube!
Only way, only way, Only waaaay,
Is to ditch that thing and buy a Gamecube!

(You know you wanna)

I think you'll find S-Club Juniors are the greatest actually.

Nice poem, I have to disagree that The Offspring are the best bnd ever because In my opinion they will never be as good as System of a down or the Foo Fighters. I take it you'll like rock :) me too (hense the name 'kerrang')
:) Anyway not a bad poem. (Read mine its in the life forum) Cheers :)

In the console world nothing is original. Hyping a console got boring for about the entire week after the GameCube's release. Dissing a console is boring after people have been shunting the Xbox for forever and liking them all is just boring.

Wow! Behold O-Messiah-O, the master of the subtle touch.

And The Offspring are indeed THE greatest band ever to walk the Earth, which is why I loved that poem thing so much. Good work, sweet-fa.

Yes, I am a boxman. And I realise that they words fit perfectly.

But I hate it when people moan about other consoles. For christs sake, find something original.

that was the best poem I've read on here ever, mainly because it was from the Offspring...who (in my head) are the greatest band ever in the world.

However i feel that Million Miles away would be hard to do as it is more instrumental than lyric-driven and does not have as much potential as, say, Self Esteem.

if you listen to the song alongside it, the words fit almost perfect everytime, you'll find. then again, you are a 'boxman.
