I think the remake of resident evil looks really great, all the characters are more detailed and even the backgrounds look way better than the ps-one version, i mean just take a look how good the zombies, hunters etc look, i have looked at the recent screenshots and movies and they are jaw-dropping, i can't wait to play on it.

Anway give us your thoughts what do you think? Is it any good or do you think capcom are just out to make more money...

thanx to everybody who replyed so far, i hope this game shows what the cube can do. i have heard people talking about game play is number one but they forget graphics, story line and pervious game history has a big part to the game. i know its ment be the first RE but the game already it has history, it a Nintendo flagship title and i hope it sell more cube's as it did with the PSX ( sorry to swear on a Nintendo site) i just hope it lives up to excpectations. it's a pity Zelda has been let down!!

There's a LOT less ammo in this version as well!

And when you kill a zombie you have to flame it. Because if you don't, when you come back into a room a few times, it will turn into a super zombie, which is faster than a licker, and really deadly!

That sounds so cool, I found the original too easy, it came to the point where i could complete it in one day in 2.5 hours without dying once, or even saving, so I hope this will be the toughest RE yet. Im still looking forwards to RE zero, new plot and all.

Mind u, there are new sectinos in RE1, cant wait till september.

apparently the new Resident evil is on 2 discs, and is over 50% longer with loads of new stuff. In resident evil 0, u can have an item in your inventory, say u dont want it anymore, u can put it down and come back and pick it up later.

Yer it's on two disks. Also in the Jap release you get a free memory card with it! Hope you also get a free mem card in the UK release!

The difference is they aren't useing chests anymore, its unrealistic. Now you can just put something on the floor *anywhere* and come back for it later.
