How do you open RAR archives... I've just downloaded winrar but I'm still none the wiser as to how to use the thing...
I just have one .RAR file, and all I need to know is how to get the thing to work. Novice-stylee :-)

Isn't aladin expander used for RAR files? I'm sure it is.
I think .zip/.tar.gz is better than rar. The best is .tar.bz2, not sure how you generate them on Windows though. They take ages too!

Nope, I was dragged RAR files on to RAR.exe, mucking around in the registry.
