I got my copy last night, although it wont be in shops till monday (I'm a subscriber, we get our as soon as it is finished)

I was pretty shocked when I opened the pack to discover the brand new look. When they say it is the biggest magazine, they are right. It is big. Not just because it has more pages (hint hint)

The new look is pretty fresh. They have finally got away from the old font set that has been their trademark since issue 1.

And no more worldy bloke. He seems to have been replaced by a rather kinkey manga style girl, reminiscent of jo-dark.

Its got loads of reviews this issue, and overall is prety helpful.

THe free gift is pretty good, was what I had guessed it would be. Its a shame it didnt include more on smash bros, or pikmin tho.

One thing I would like to see is a return of the directory, so you can see at a glance what games are worth getting, and which are a pile of dung.

Just picked up the latest NGC today, and, hot damn, it fudgin' rules!! The disc is a far more professional effort that the embarressingly-poor video they gave away with issue 60, even if you can get all the footage shown on it off the web.
But what's most impressive is the magazine itself! The pages, for starters, are a fair bit bigger, in greater number, AND loads more info has been crammed onto each and every one of 'em!
My only criticisms, at the moment are the lack of the 'making of' feature (at the back, normally) and putting the Resi Evil review at the front. Still, the mag oozes with effort and quality, and has ensured I'll be getting every issue!!

The mag is pretty hefty already, and that Shigsy doll at the back was so damn funny!

i also hope they bring back the directory but I think this may happen when there are moe games out etc. when N64 came out it was big but filled with rubbish, then as the n64 got in full flow it got really good. I stopped getting it for a year when the n64 started to die and the mag got smaller as they had less to talk about, I think that when the GC really gets going in the next few mounths and years the mag will just get bigger and bigger and better and better. I can't wait can u?

if any of u had any sence u would subscribe because it then only costs £2 an issue. instead of the £3.50 it is now. that is a saving of £1.50 every issue over 13 issus a great saving and if u r lucky like me then they will loose ur cheque and give u the 14th issue free.

£3.60 or something, but it's still cheaper than PC magazines (even though they have demos and patches and stuff)which i waste £10 of my money on every month
