Well I was gutted last night, but I didnt really let it get to me. We made too many mistakes this season and I applauded Arsenal when they won it..

I hate it though when people are saying how rubbish Blanc and Veron are. Blanc is a world cup winner and a great defender-considering he is like 36 I think hes done superbly for us. Veron needs time to adjust and I hate it when fans get on his back.

Yes I thought we are gonna win it, simply because of the kind of a comeback we produced since Christmas, but as Clive Tyldsley said "Its not always like a fairy tale". We will get a few good players next year and bounce back strongly.

Meanwhile, congrats Wookiee and all Arsenal fans on a tremendous season

We faced facts a long time ago - but the mathmatical possibility is still there. And as they say Football is a funny old game (Especially Fifa !).

Problem though is Liverpool definately want to finish above Man Utd so they will be going for it and I dont think our boys are good enough to stop them scoring, simple fact really. Oh well - 5 or 6 years of struggling to get out of the Nationwide again to look forward to.

Got to say that i was wanting a Man U win last night, only because it would have made for a very interesting final day of the season, which now is going to be another boring one i guess. Whats to play for? Ispwich or more or less down (sorry nh, face facts :D) and other than that its only second place that has any real competition for it.

Ah well, well done to the Gunners i guess, least next season should be another good one with more than 4 teams putting up a challange for the title...living in yorkshire im hoping Leeds come up trumphs as Sheff Wed are surprisingly a long way off that yet. :D

Least i got another relegation battle coming up for my next seasom with them...

Congrats to Wookiee and all Arsenal fans!

It's about time someone else won the league, I was beginning to get sick and tired of seeing Man U win it ever year.

Well done again and enjoy the parade on Sunday (I think that's what you said) should be a great day out ;D

Yes I certainly did and I really enjoyed the game, the discussion in our office this morning has been around how come Scholes and Neville didn't get sent of ?

Ten minutes after he got booked Scholes blatently took out Viera in front of Durkin and got away with it, then when Neville kicked the ball at Ljunberg when he was on the ground. Players have been sent off for both of those things this season - but it was at Old Trafford I suppose.

And when is Ferguson going to stop complaining against every decision - does he really think that Wiltord dived when Neville took him out ? Mad.

Van Nistleroy will be getting his Honorary Oscar soon for his performances, Bad losers the lot of them..

Don't know if you watched the match, but he was brought on as a sub, and within ONE MINUTE he was trying the same thing again.

Thankfully, Durkin the Gherkin (that's Paul Durkin to the rest of you) didn't get suckered by it.

You could see from the start, though, that United's main tactic was to hack away at our players and try and get them to retaliate and sent off.

A lot of teams have done that this season, simply because they haven't been able match us in terms of pure footballing ability. Last night was one of the most blatant examples of it, and is why I'm getting a bit p***ed off with everyone in the press saying tht United were "gracious losers". They weren't - they were dirty, because they can't handle losing.

But we had the last laugh!

"Old Trafford - Champion's Section" - that was a classic banner the fans unfolded. :-)

No worries Wookiee - enjoy the day out, should be good fun.

And yes Van Nistleroy really pee's me off, I know you cant just count what happens in one game but that dive he did at Portman Road could be the thing that sends us down. That is if derby manage to beat Sunderland - otherwise we were doomed anyway...
