They said we couldn't do it without Adams.
They said we couldn't do it without Bergkamp.
They said we couldn't do it without Henry.
They said we couldn't do it in United's back yard.
They said we'd slip up.
They said we'd crack under the pressure.
They said we weren't good enough.
They said we were cocky.
They can kiss my big hairy backside.
> But you WERE cocky, don't know where you got it from that you weren't.. ;)
Speaking of cocky - let's browse some quotes from the United camp throughout the course of the season... I got these from Teamtalk...
Beckham: "We are going to win everything this year."
Giggs: "We will go the entire season without losing a single game."
Ferguson: "I think it's obvious that United have been the best team this season."
Giggs: "Arsenal will bottle it."
Sheringham: "I'll help to beat Arsenal for my United friends."
Manchester United PLC: "We demand that the Man Utd vs. Arsenal Premiership fixture be played on the 7th of May so that we can have more time to prepare for our Champions League final."
Not just a crap keeper for not holding onto it?
Lucky goal or not, you didn't score, so we'd still have won the championship!
And I sincerely hope the FA are readying their video panel and Swan-dive man Nostrilboy gets a suspension.
i'd rather give Dwight a chance.
Hunger is the key element. Every season when we have gone trophyless we have come back and...well there have only been two of them...We won the double in 96 after losing out to Blackburn before...then won the Treble in 99 after losing out to Arsenal in 98.
Hunger + Ayala + Striker (Anelka lol)
