Is it just me or has the entry rate for Newbies just got easier, i've just seen a Regular with less than 300 posts *is disgusted* whats happening?

how can a regular have less that 300 posts? I'm aiming to get that to become a regular...but don't worry not spamming! Check my stats to see. My word count is pretty high and I look forward to becoming one of those pompous regulars who are infinitely superior to those jabbering newbies.

I was a regualr about 100 posts before i was supposed to due to some server problem or something. Maybe i'm what you're talking about but no worries now, i'm a fully fledged, no fake regualar.
