Is it just me or has the entry rate for Newbies just got easier, i've just seen a Regular with less than 300 posts *is disgusted* whats happening?

These arn't the only forums, i'm pretty sure most people here post elsewhere, also i've never been a Newbie, so I am special.
You turn into a better poster if you post well as a newbie. I have a lot more repsect for people who make quality posts and don't rush by spamming as I do for quite a number of posters who are regulars at this moment in time.
Nothing is achieved by vigorous spamming apart from lots of abuse directed at the spammer.

Actually, you do turn into a better poster. Because you have been posting on the forums for a while you have learnt what people regard as spam and what is regarded as quality writing.
And becoming a regular is a big deal because people respect you more. Probably for the reason above, but i don't know. Oh, and you don't get called 'Newbie scum' anymore either. ;-D

so some-one got regular status with only 300 posts big deal they got lucky.
i will probably have to get double that to become a regular,thems the breaks i'm afraid.
but i'm not gonna bang on at other newbies doing less to gain their regular status.

Don't worry. I am infinitely superior to many things of this world, adn i truly deserve to be regular. Unfortunately, all of my posts are meaningful, so it will take a while to reach 300. Maybe to be a regular, you have to be a regular user of the site (sorry to point out the blinking obvious, but no-one else appeared to think of this yet...)
