OK, thanks to Tyla's sterling effort in compressing this, the BG is now at a healthier 72k, down 58k, which is... not bad. It'll do, basically. Have gone back to hardcoding the BG image in. So, should be OK? Yes? Please?

Well....the background actually loads before the rest of the page fr me now, the logo then loads....with a WHITE background! eek!
Guess i'll keep checking to see if the favourites icon appears...
On a much brighter note, I got LINUX! hopefully i'll have my PC running at the end of this week, and lock myself in my room
