Do you care? I'm guessing probably not!

I went round to my friend FatButcher's at lunchtime to have a play on his.

He's got four games - Rogue Squadron 2, Super Monkey Ball, Sonic, and Luigi's Mansion. Didn't have too much time, being a lunchtime and all, so we only got to play Rogue Squadron and SMB.

Rogue Squadron was great - very similar to Starfighter on the PS2, and I had a bit of trouble with the controls, simply because they seemed too sensitive. That'll just take some getting used to.

Didn't play the main game on SMB - there were four of us, so we went for one of the party games - Monkey Flight, I think it's called. Great fun, and very addictive. I wanted to try Monkey Pool, but we didn't have time.

The controller is great. This was the first time I'd held one, and it was very comfortable. I think I still prefer the PS2's DualShock because of the rounded grips, but it's a very close thing. Certainly better than the Xbox's semi-moulded brick, I reckon.

So will I get one? Almost certainly yes, now that I've played one. I would get one this weekend, but I already have plans that will keep me busy for most of it, so I'll have to wait. But in a few weeks, I'll probably have one.

Talking of CD's, I may funk up my collection this weekend by buying that new James Brown compilation.

Got your CD amongst my packages this morning, by the way.

I saw the bundles in SR Sawbo.
I picked one up, gummed it a bit and then lay on the floor going "muuuuuuh"
Then they asked me to leave the shop.

I think not.

First thing I did was put stickers on my memory card and stick it in Rogue Squadron's case.

When I do get one, I just can't lose in the "my console's better than yours" arguments. :-)

I ordered last month and I didn't get down to the shops until around 11 and I still got one.

I must admit, I got my Cube this morning and Rogue Leader came through the post but I'm not too impressed with it so far.

Luigi's Mansion is far better than I expected (my mates are playing it right now) all I need now is Tonto Hawks 3 and I'm set ! I have Pikmin ordered too, woah, looks like I had better get playing.

As for you Grix, no Cube? Seriously, when did you order?
