I've just got mine home. I got a black one, and although i'd played it before - it's a lot different to what I thought.
For a start, it's quite a good quality piee of kit. I thought the lid would open like a PSOne one, all cheap and tacky, but in actual fact, it's quite smooth and sterdy. The power button is also quite good - I know that's a bit of a sad thing to say, but it's true... it feels expensive.
The pad is minute... and the D-Pad button is miniscule. Added to which, you can hardly tell the difference between the lead and the end bit that you plug into the Cube... that's even smaller than the rest of it!
The pad is great, but it's no WaveBird.
The Scart adaptor is massive, almost as big as the Cube. The Power Unit is also quite big... for a power unit, that is.
Memory cards are TINY!!! I almost lost it... luckily I had some tweezers and a microscope on hand!
(What were you doing with Tweezers and a Microscope... in fact, don't answer that! You freak!)
*cough*
Anyway, all in all, I'm quite impressed. I don't actually have any games yet, so i've been messing about with the Settings for about 15 minutes... I love the sounds! I had to fend off a few people from the nightclub, and my Mum actually had to come out and pay because I don't get paid until 2:00am!
It was fun, and I feel sorry for anyone who couldn't experience it first hand - it was quite a sight.
Anyway - I want to hear your thoughts... beause contrary to popular thinking, I'm not a psychic!
