this just goes to prove that you cannot judge people by what you read of them in places like this.
Shame be unto you also
Ok, so we moan about spelling etc, but when you get ages ranging from 10-40 then that's to be expected.
If anyone here should be claiming to be better, then it's us Notables.
But we don't, simply because this is not the sort of forum that tolerates arrogant posturing and attitudes like yours Bartender.
It's quite simple, if this is such a chore for you, then don't post.
A perfect example of your boredom is when you were pulled up for mis-spelling a thread title as "teh" instead of "the".
Instead of accepting your mistake, you went on the offensive.
That is not the action of a superior being, that is the action of a purile and spoilt brat.
"Can't hear you LALALALALA".
It's not needed, welcomed or accepted.
Change your attitude otherwise you'll be held with the respect you deserve from newbies, Notables and anyone else that is here to chat and (friendly) argue about games, movies and life.
Do not start lording it about this place claiming to be better than "some".
You're not, in fact if anything, you are below those you attack simply because they have fun.
So climb down off that cross, try smiling and joining in.

It is clear to me then, that you quite simply don't like my point of view. I am honest, I say what I believe, and I post what I do here not for my own benefit, but to give you an opinion and point of view which is otherwise completely lacking here, yet totally necessary to balanced argument. Sorry if that's too much for you to grasp.

This is clearly asking for a little history on me, so I'll give it to you.
I grew up in poverty, right through my teen years, through to the end of university. Only by applying my own skills to an environment beyond where I was expected to succeed have I ever managed to push back the poverty trap. I'm now earning a decent wage (£30k pa for those who want to know what a decent wage is), was never spoilt as a child, and certainly am no longer frustrated with my own state of affairs. What does frustrate me however, is people who find the acceptance of anything beyond the norm a difficult task, such people are societal dinosaurs.

I'm 23, no little boy, I don't think I'm better than EVERYONE else, as I have stated repeatedly, but certainly am better than many. I have no shame, since there is no time in life for it, I'm perfectly secure, and left my narcissitc views back in my teens when I discovered mirrors.
Your psychological profiling seems to need substatntial work, so I'll leave you to that, though I've no doubt you won't even finish reading this post before you begin what you believe will be a well-formulated and argumentative reply.
> Either be nice and stop putting everyone else down, you pompous child,
> or please go elsewhere.
In my life, I've claimed to live by many mottos, I'll put you onto a few of them now, maybe so that you'll understand me, but more to make you think about yourself;
Timendi causa est nescire - Ignorance is the cause of fear
Ipsa scientia potestas est - Knowledge itself is power
Both have relevance, and both I swear by. People fear the unknown, and I sense the fear in you now, though you yourself will never admit it. You don't understand me, and with the attitude you're expressing now, it is possible you lack the capacity to. I'm more than happy to give you more than this chance - today - to prove otherwise, though I understand that doing so will never be a part of your agenda. Breakthroughs are better stumbled upon than sought.
And if your true aim is to merely silence my point of view, something you should keep in mind when using internet forums;
Quot capita, tot sensus - there are as many opinions as there are heads.
Disliking my point of view is to dislike me, and that is a very personal thing to do. You won't see me attack someone's point of view here, but you will see me attack the arguments they use to express them. You however, are not so subtle. Shame be unto you.

Never said anything about your posting quality, just that you are up your own bum.
Secondly, I

Oh, I do apologise Sir. a) I don't live on these forums and do not know the name of everyone you comes here and b) WTF has how long I'VE been here got to do with it?
Third, I haven't made out that I'm superior to ALL of

Exactly. Just what I have been saying.
Fourth, I have

I have no objection to your views, just your attitude

No, its because you constantly say you are better

Yawn

For one so intelligent, why spend time on a computer games site?
Go to another site where you can talk with similar minded people then.
Nobody is forcing you to post here, and from the looks of things, nobody would be that upset if you left us morons to ourselves.

No wonder i give off an air of superiority against the likes of some of you. Firstly, if you want to judge me, I suggest you take the time to read all of the material I put on these forums, and not go for the "selective reading" that your post suggests. Secondly, I appeared a few WEEKS ago, for the THIRD time, which goes to show a) how much attention you pay, and b) how long you've been around in the first place. Third, I haven't made out that I'm superior to ALL of you, though I do believe that I am superior to some. Fourth, I have pointed out that I'm a pessimist, and the point of view put across in most of my postings reflect that. If you can't handle someone who doesn't jump around endlessly with boundless joy at the most pitiful scrap of news, then this is obviously a new point of view for you, and I suggest you take the time to heed my words.
If I sound lofty, and arrogant, it's because I use well thought out arguments, and not mindless speculation, which drives the opinions of far too many a discussion forum in this day and age.
If you want me to stop seeming superior, then argue back, don't just flame. Sticks and stones etc etc. Match wits and words, don't mince them.
I look forward to your informed response.
What crap. You couldn't give a damn. Besides humans will always have anger in them it's just part of us. You can't blame it on the parents.
