Should I get one?
Reasons why I wouldn't mind:
Rogue Leader 2
er...that's about it really, no other games interest me.
Reasons not to get one?
I don't like Nintendo at all, thought the N64 was a con and Lylat Wars will haunt me to my grave.
Most of the games are big colour games for those that like that sort of thing. (and spazzies)
No games I want apart from Star Wars.
Go on you Nintys, persuade me to get one.
A decent footie one. I hate football but like footie games.
Star Wars games - Jedi Knight 2, can't be topped.
My hesitancy is this:
Got an N64 with Super Mario 64, Waveracer, Shadows of The Empire.
Got bored after a week and got angry after a month.
Then I see the Gamecube being launched with Luigi Mansion, Waveracer, Rogue Sqaudron.
It just feels like a brightly coloured sense of deja-vu to me.
And the price drop doesn't fill me with confidence either, considering I payed £249 for the N64 and that sucked balls, if they only want £130 for this new one, that says something to me.
(yes I know Xbox dropped too, but I've never had a bad time with Microsoft)
I know I joke about "Muuuuuh" for Gamecube, but I'm still sulking over being ripped off for the N64 and I'm loathe to give Nintendo any more of my money.
I may change my mind when there are some decent games, but Mario/Wario/Whateverio and another Jet Ski game open old wounds.
Stuff Gamecube up a**e.
Pretentiousay
Gamecube for spaz and kids.
What was I thinking.
Wait until nearer Xmas, see if there's anything you fancy then.
I mean, at £130, if there's 3 games or so you want, it wouldn't exactly be the end of the world if you didn't find many more you liked.
I mean, it's not like you'd sell your Xbox to get one, is it?
I'm getting one because I'd like to play Luigi's Mansion and the like. You probably wouldn't like it though.
how can you know if you will want it?
without reaming propoganda, all i can say for you is this:
Experientia docet - Experience is the best teacher.
And PC
Silent Hill is better.
I've been looking at other sites and there really is only 1 game, Rogue Squadron (leader/squadron/whatever) that appeals.
The rest just make me go "muuuuuuuh"
Are you serious?
Resident Evil is good...thats if you like Resident Evil though.
