Most of the gamecube games are ports from the PS2 and the Dreamcast and the other cube games are 1 hour long like pikmin, wave race is just a copy of the N64 game and so is super smash bros melee.
Prehapes you would like the 50th mario game.
mario golf, mario tennis and mario ksrt are the same as the other virsions so there a rip of.

Yep - and I suppose Red Faction too.

It's not easy thinking of ones that are not sequels.

And do we care ?? not at all if the games are any good.

Bring on Toca Race Driver, Driver 3, Colin McRae3, FFX, Fifa World Cup- Only kidding with the Fifa one - really !! ... yes I was kidding... ;D

Timesplitters is another. They where the first two games I got with my PS2, and bloody great they are too.

Most of the games I have for the PS2 are sequels, do I find this a problem ? No of course I don't.

I want to see all my favourite games from the psone converted onto the PS2, and so far i haven't been dissapointed with the likes of Silent Hill2, GTA3 and Resident Evil Code Veronica.

I can't wait to get my GC either, which will sit nicely alonside my PS2.

Not at all GTA3 showed exactly what can be done with a sequel to improve a game / franchise enormously (Core take note!!)

It's not just the GC that has ports/updates, the PS2 is rife with them: Shadowman 2, Silent Hill 2, MGS2, GTA3, Pro Evo Soccer, Smackdown 3, Twisted Metal Black, Tomb Raider, Crazy Taxi, Final Fantasy 10, Max Payne, 18 Wheeler, Commandos 2, Driver 3, Quake 3, Tekken 4, Virtua Fighter 4, Time Crisis 2, WipeOut Fusion, No One Lives Forever, Deus Ex etc etc.

Updates or sequels aren't a bad thing, Smash Bros Melee, Waverace, Mario Tennis/Golf/Kart etc will all be great fun, just like GTA3, MGS2 etc are great.
Did it matter to you that MGS2 or GTA3 were sequels? I bet it didn't.
