Most of the gamecube games are ports from the PS2 and the Dreamcast and the other cube games are 1 hour long like pikmin, wave race is just a copy of the N64 game and so is super smash bros melee.
Prehapes you would like the 50th mario game.
mario golf, mario tennis and mario ksrt are the same as the other virsions so there a rip of.

Your totally wrong! I went round my mates house today to play on his he has Luigis mansion it is great! The controls are pretty weird but the bad looks really good and the game disc's are really small which i think is a good idea. And the console it's self is really small and colorfull which i like, One last thing Luigis Mansion is really good if you own a Game Cube get it is fantastic i give the Game cube 10/10

WOW! There was 1 full stop in all of that! The future is bright. The future is newbiefied...

Perhaps I would, and it is my choice if I want it or not.

Mario ksrt? Was that never released in the U.K? :P Ah, you meant mario kart, one of the greatest racers of all time. Same as the other versions? Eh? What a load of BS. If you want to diss any console, at least have information to back up your 'arguement'. Some people need to get their facts straight...

Rant over.

I have to agree with Pro there, yes many of the great games have sequels as long as they are decent, im sure many people would agree that if you play a great game and you feel you have got a great feeling of getting to the end and finishing it successfully that you want a sequel to come out, I know I do. Just like MGS, I really wanted a sequel to come out, I was dissapointed that it took so long but when it was released we were treated to a brilliant game, great features, life like, innovative and great detail.

With regards to the gamecube I think it will do great, im not thinking about getting another console at the moment but I wont be getting an X-BoX, it will be a GC if I do get one.

Ok yeah, many of the PS2's top games are sequels, but thats no real problem is it? Surely if there good enough to play and get some real enjoyment out of them what does it matter? I know i have no been bothered playing GTA3, MGS2 ect. There all really good games and it doesnt bother me so much that im playing as the same character and so on.

Ok, i would prefer more good original games to come out, but there are some really good new games that have been released, you all know the ones, Jak and Dax is one of them. So there are some good new games coming out all the time.

But for me, as long as the games have new story lines, new features so it can be classed as a proper sequel, and most of all top gameplay, it doesnt bother me.

As for views on the GC and X-box, well i want a GC more than i do and X-box, but i would love to own all three consoles, and hopefully a GC will come my way soon.

I'm sticking with my PS2. They're all great consoles with all great games but i think that PS2 has a much larger variety of games that are all great. But, thinking about it, that is probably cos it has been out for loads longer than X-Box and gamecube so has had more time to build up a nice load of games. About the sequels thing, in theory shouldn't sequels be better than originals (in theory) because the makers have had time to re-evalkuate and cover-up the glitches and mistakes whereas originals haven't been properly tested.

I personaly think the PS2 and GC are as good as each other. They both provide us gamers with solid, well structured and compelling games as well having amazing graphics. I also think the x-box is a good machine, but the games are just conversions or sequels from other systems, and not specificaly designed for the console.

By the way, Starfox adventures is about 40-60 hours long.

Gamecube games short? Not played Devil May Cry, GTA3, or MGS2?

Just to clear up that I was SUPPORTING cooky's view, and not disagreeing with it! Sorry for that!

The idea was that he said that the GC was good, and I responded that all the consoles are good... not that he was a muppet for just liking the GC! Sorry for that!

Cooky: only member that's been here longer than me!
