Flipping hell, thats how Nintendo can afford to make it that price. You will need to buy loads if you have a lot of games. How much are the Gamecube games by the way?

I forgot to order one for the X-Box. =/
So the answer to your question is 'yes' =P

But then again...
;-p
I don't go in the PS2 forum and have a go at the PS2 using annoying one-liners.
Why? - because I think all consoles have value and I'm not an annoying toerag.

I thought the idea of the forums was to state your opinions plus he is answering the question

Why don't you just take your sad and insecure biased opinions back into the PS2 forum and don't come back.
We all know that they lose money on the actual console itself, and they need to make it backin other ways.
Which is why you only ever get 1 controller bundled with your console. Is there ANYONE who doesn't buy a second pad at the same time as they buy their machine?
Exactly.
All the companies do it.
Sony and Nintendo - regardless of the size of the card, require you to buy a memory card so you can save your game. Xbox requires you to buy a DVD remote to watch films.
Sony make you buy a multitap to play 4 player, despite the fact that it would be easy to release a USB pad. That way you could have 2 normal pads and 2 USB pads = 4 players without buying a multitap.
All the companies have their little ways of getting money back.
