Micorsoft announce Xbox price drop on friday, compensating us early buyers with free games at a joypad.

Ninties run around screaming:

"Xbox has failed! Hahahahaha! Goo-goo ga-ga".

Nintendo announce GC price drop BEFORE the bloody thing has even been released.

Ninties run around screaming:

"GC is the best! We get it cheaper! Hahahaha! Goo-goo ga-ga".


Now, am I the only one that thinks that's a bit stupid? Xbox price comes down because it made good business sense.

GC was the cheapest console anyway, why reduce the price?

Could it be that Nintendo realise that the Xbox is a threat? Sony have already said that they may have to release the PS3 earlier as the Xbox is s***-hot.

I put it to you that Nintendo are scared crapless of the Xbox price drop.

On friday, you could have bought a console just as powerful (if not lsightly more) than the GC, with a top quality DVD player, for only £40 more than the price of the GC.

So they dropped the price. Because they're scared.

I just wish more people who post positive things about Nintendo would spell correctly. Each time a Ninty seriously miss spells or makes no sense i get slightly worried that the "al Ninties are kids" idea may be true.

I'm a Ninty and yes maybe Nintendo are worried, they may actually see Xbox as a threat now have and decided to knock the price down attract more people into buying it. I'm noy bothered as I'm getting the Gamecube at even cheaper which iss great and the money I save I can put towrads another game !


And the Gamecube isn't for kiddies, it's aimed at everyone !
