Dogma, directed by Kevin Smith, is sort of a comedic look at Christianity and its beliefs. Now, I would have complained about how offending it was to me, but I didn't find it particularly offending.
The first time I watched it on DVD, it was okay. Well, above average actually. Amusing in quite a few places, a half-decent plot and some excellent acting, especially from Ben Affleck (sp?).
A couple of months later I watched it with friends, and for some strange reason it was a little better. I noticed more of those nice touches which can make a movie "truly great", and I think I actually laughed more this time than I did before.
A few months on, and I watch it for a third time. This was a couple of days ago, when my father and I watched it on a certain Movie Channel. This time it was fantastic - hilarious in places, and just much better than I'd first thought.
So, am I completely insane or is there a plausible explanation for this? No actually, don't answer that, I know the answer all ready. *pulls spotted y-fronts back over head* And, what did you all think of it? One of Smith'e best, or just 'average'?
One more question: Is Battle Royale worth purchasing?
Bleedin' Johnny Foreigner movies.
There's a Mexican one about two kids trying to get their ends away.
They whack off on a diving board, racing to see who can "finish" first and you see the manfat floating in the pool.
This is "art".
2 Mexicans flogging off in front of each other.

Bah, gimme The Long Good Friday any day of the week

In a way, but my computer's broken, so it's not a *sulk*; I'm absent by default.
But that was sulky. Because foreign films suck.

Hello Mr Happy!
Still sulking?
It was a joke, by the way.
*chuckles inanely*
Yes, I meant inane, not insane.
In other good news, Ally McBeal have been cancelled. Excellent.
Because Foreign films, let's face it, suck like a 2-dollar w***e, anything could be going on in screen while you try to keep up with the subtitles. You're much safer sticking to Sylvester Stallone. Can't go wrong with a few grunts and dialogue written by monkeys.
Better to stay away from all that art-house crap. The films are only in Black and White because they can't afford to shoot in colour, even though the director will spout some "ooh artisitic integrity, realism" *stroke stroke* crap.
Stay pure, stay english, stay with colour films and get a box for your head while you're at it, and some blinkers, because you wouldn't want to look off the straight and narrow. Let's all follow the corporate piper, serenading us with the clink of cash tills and the rustle of money into the latest monosyllabic blockbuster.

That's probably because it's about Catholicism.
Eh?
Eh?
And Battle Royale is top.
Call me artsy if you want, doesn't matter.
