For me it has to be the recently released Golden Sun for the gameboy advance. All that happens is the characters sail away on a boat with the words "to be continued..." I was sooo dissapointed.

Erm, why is that bad? All it means is we're gonna get a sequal, which can't be bad...
(If you can call it an ending), hmm "the goal of the game is to basically turn Daxter back"- (Naughty Dog) So why does the game just grind to a halt with Daxter not turning back but a great big thing that only works when you go back and collect 99% of the object things, how lame. Ok Fine if you wanted to create a sequel i can understand preserving some of the original elements but come on another quest to turn Daxter back, I was very dissapointed :-(

Well in Fallout, you get told you can't come back into the Vault you just spent the entire game saving... so you shoot the guy and wander off into the desert! Great ending

I would hardly say it's a source of depression!
*cries in corner*
Stop getting so depressed

I liked the ending to Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It wasn't film material but it was quite a good conclusion.
