Theres a rumour going about that the xbox will cut to £215 soon. An interesting price point at just above £200. On the face of it, it doesn't sound that logical I mean a sub £200 price point will shift a lot more consoles and theres only £16 difference. I suppose retailers may bundle a game for £249.95 like Halo and that does seem pretty good value. One things assured once they go to £215 they won't drop that price for a long time so its perhaps a sensible time to buy. I was hoping for £199 but a £250 bundle deal and I'll definitely get my wallet out for it. Presumably it will be the end of the month just before the GC launches.

the sooner the prices go down the better as more people will get one. Mainly because the price is so high people who have a ps2 who want one just s**g, it off I know because I used to be one of those people

Well, I honestly do think it is worth £300. So, I wouldn't be that bothered. Sure, I would be slightly annoyed if they reduced it tommorow, but if I was prepared to buy it at the full price, it obviously doesn't bother me what price it is after I buy it.

IMO

I don't normally register my prodects, but I'm going to register my XBox, so if they do drop the price and decide to reimburse early buyers to any extent then I'll get something.

Maybe a free game or two? Sounds good to me!

Yes you could be bothered - it's just that you've bought it now and are trying to convince yourself that you aren't bothered if the price drops. Face it, if M$ were to announce an £85 price-cut tomorrow, you'd be well peed off. That's like saying you wouldn't be bothered if someone just took £85 from your wallet - of course you would!

Iam still glad I got my Xbox on launch day. As Iam a student and have a part time job the £85 i've lost isnt too much for me, compared to someone who only gets £5 pocket money.

It would be nice that if Microsoft do reduce the price soon, that they send the launch day buyers and everyone else a gift voucher. Even if the voucher is only enough for one game, then its better than nothing.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
