"Why £215 for new Xbox pricing?"

Theres a rumour going about that the xbox will cut to £215 soon. An interesting price point at just above £200. On the face of it, it doesn't sound that logical I mean a sub £200 price point will shift a lot more consoles and theres only £16 difference. I suppose retailers may bundle a game for £249.95 like Halo and that does seem pretty good value. One things assured once they go to £215 they won't drop that price for a long time so its perhaps a sensible time to buy. I was hoping for £199 but a £250 bundle deal and I'll definitely get my wallet out for it. Presumably it will be the end of the month just before the GC launches.

i like the x box, i admit i doubted it at first but i think it's so much better than the GC, i mean people moan about it's pc likeness but it saves money using ethernet for link up's and using a PC HDD for storage.

the GC is doing it all wrong with no HDD so limited features on games and there not really pushing the online stuff enough.

i'd by an x box for sure when online gaming comes avalible and it drops it's price.

Yes. If the price drop does happen, that will leave people with one thing to insult the Xbox by. And that is the size of it. That isn't even a proper argument anyway, it's just people trying to find something wrong with a console that is clearly good.

P.S, I still sllag off the Xbox even though I have one, and think it's great. But it's always jokes that people can laugh along with me, not the typical "XBOX IS DA CRAPIEST OF DA LOT!"
