ive got bit of a dilemma which I need help with..
My Laptop comes up with a error message now and again
"Your computer is dangerously low on resources"
it then tells me to close down Explorer, word, basically any application or connection which I have open..
it then crashes and I have to reboot.
I know its not my HD because I have 5.33 GB free
so does anyone know what I can do to sort this problem out?
Thanks.

Would be useful to know what version of windows you are using. It can mean quite different things depending on the version.
-G
I assume you are using windows?Right click on my computer and go to properties. select the option for performance (on the tabs at the top). There is a line there for system resources, what percentage is it at????
Ways to get rid of this message are: don't use background images, don't have loads of screensavers, just use a default one. Don't have loads of programs running from start up(in the task bar at the bottom). Don't keep opening and reopening programs that you use. Also make sure your clipboard is cleared as if there is a lot of data on it it could cause it a bit.
what is goin on here?
