Apparently, the price of the XBox is being dropped in the coming weeks. By 140 Euros. Bringing it to the price of about £215. Well, this could be good news in the long run, but for people like me, this is a real kick in the teeth.
So, I haven't got a clue about wheather is true or not. But, most of the people on that link seem to believe him. And, although I don't know what his status is, he said he got the mail from his suppliers.
So, If it's true: You heard it from me (a pretty annoyed Xbox owner) first.
And if it isn't true: You didn't see me, awright?
Discuss.
Maybe that registration card will have something to do with it. They might either look at the purchase date, or serial number to see what price the person bought it at. Or they could set up a deal where you take your reciept to the shop you bought it from (or any shop) and they will give you the items/voucher.
But who knows? This price drop thing might not even be true. It might be another year until we see a price drop.
Although, I doubt it.
Wasn't Japan the problem?
also they're losing quite a lot already per console
But if they are going to give out vouchers, shouldn't they have just set the price at £215 in the first place? It would have made a much better launch.
It's killing me not to be playing Jet Set Radio Future, but I've got to be patient.....
My bank balance is slowly moving into "Xbox purchase territory".
I *think* I read somewhere that in Japan, the

Xbox is the most expensive console in Japan, a mere £184.
