Well, I've been drueling over many pictures of the Xbox for months. Since it was released. All the time thinking I would never be able to afford it. Well, I found some crap in my house, and decided to sell it.

In total, I made £173 out of stuff I never use anymore. So, I told my parents I wanted an Xbox, and they send they would loan me the rest of the money.

So I went straight down to my local shop, and bought one. And I don't regret it one bit. I liked the Xbox in the shop pods. And the game expirience is twice as good when I can sit on my sofa, without wondering why the shop assitances are laughing away. And what a nice thing that is.

I could only afford. Not being a fan of halo-type games, I went for Muches oddesy. Only the one game though. (Give me a break! I'm in £152 debt!). Haven't had much of a go on it yet. But I'm sure I'll be glued to the TV tommorow.

Well, I'm just glad I can now join your Xbox community. (Just as long as you lot will except me, as the games lover I am :D )The Xbox really is a great console. I had my doubts, but they have now gone. I am very impressed by this console. And, unfortunately, I can see my PS2 will begin to gather dust.

P.S I do have some questions aswell, y'know!

-Is there really a point in sending that registration card away. The fact it is going to the USA doesn't fill me with confidence that they will bother to send anything back.

-On munches Oddesy, I haven't noticed any rumble yet. I have only played about 5mins of actual game play so far though. Does it come in later, or do I have to enable it? Surely one of you lot has this game.

Thanks in Advance. Oh, and anyone who doesn't like this console. Your choice.

I find that the rumble on my PS2 controller is a lot more powerful than the X Box controller. When you crash a car a Gran Turismo you get a relly strong rumble through the ps2 pad but so far I have not had musch of a rumble through my X Box controller. Maybe it's just the games I have.

Couldn'y draw myself away from the Xbox today. And thanks for all your comments. I have recently discovered the answer to my rumble question. It's just that Muches Oddesy doesn't seem to start using the effect, until later in the game.

But I still don't know if there are any advantages to sending off the registration form. Have any of you sent it yet? Did you recieve anything?

Thanks.

Really ? You think so ? I find the rumble on the X-Box pads a lot more noticable than the PS2 ones.
Especially when Halo gets busy with explosions. :-)

By the way, sorry for the shear lack of intelligence in this post. I typed it quickly, without thinking about it, or re-reading it.

Bloody Xbox!

I won't be getting any more games for a while when I'm in that much debt to my parents.

Only get £5 a week aswell (only one year 'till I can get a job, grr...)

Quick Calculation = 30 weeks. But I have some more junk I can sell. :D

Welcome to the Land Of XBox, I know you'll like it here :-D

I don't have Munche's Odysey (sp?) but I can tell you that the rumble is not as strong in the XBox pads as in the PS2 pads.

Oh year, here's a list of games for you to get next:

PGR, Halo (you WILL like it), Amped, JSRF, Rallisport Challenge, DoA 3.

Plus loads more over the coming months.
