In total, I made £173 out of stuff I never use anymore. So, I told my parents I wanted an Xbox, and they send they would loan me the rest of the money.
So I went straight down to my local shop, and bought one. And I don't regret it one bit. I liked the Xbox in the shop pods. And the game expirience is twice as good when I can sit on my sofa, without wondering why the shop assitances are laughing away. And what a nice thing that is.
I could only afford. Not being a fan of halo-type games, I went for Muches oddesy. Only the one game though. (Give me a break! I'm in £152 debt!). Haven't had much of a go on it yet. But I'm sure I'll be glued to the TV tommorow.
Well, I'm just glad I can now join your Xbox community. (Just as long as you lot will except me, as the games lover I am :D )The Xbox really is a great console. I had my doubts, but they have now gone. I am very impressed by this console. And, unfortunately, I can see my PS2 will begin to gather dust.
P.S I do have some questions aswell, y'know!
-Is there really a point in sending that registration card away. The fact it is going to the USA doesn't fill me with confidence that they will bother to send anything back.
-On munches Oddesy, I haven't noticed any rumble yet. I have only played about 5mins of actual game play so far though. Does it come in later, or do I have to enable it? Surely one of you lot has this game.
Thanks in Advance. Oh, and anyone who doesn't like this console. Your choice.
No regrets.
Trust me you will LOVE halo. I do a paper round (im only 15) and get £7.50 a week for it so i have to wait like a month to buy a game!
Well, I found some crap in my house, and decided to sell it.
------
No..... really...... I found crap...... in my house.....
I looked down the toilet, shoved my hand down, pulled my hand back out, saw the crap, sold it, then bought an XBox.
I hear theres a pretty big market for crap nowadays.
Ah well.
*shrugs*
Im having fun.
;)
I don't have any regrets at all. Well done Microsoft.
Lets hope we get something good!
I remember when I got my Dreamcast, I was quick to get online and
> register myself on Sega's site. A few months on and I was able to get Chu Chu
> Rocket for nothing !
Yeah that happened with me. I registered my DC really quick online and then in the post I got a letter saying I could get Chu Chu Rocket free. Went online filled it in and then got the game a week or to later.
Registered the PS2 the day I got it(launch day), recieved a demo disk and thats it. Other people have recieved other demos for Wipeout Fusion and ICO, but I havent.
Thanks guys!
(I was thinking about registering it via xbox.com, but I don't trust the internet enough, for me to think it won't get lost. :D)

So its always worth doing these things, especially when its not costing you anything. :-)
But I still don't know if there are any advantages to sending off the
> registration form. Have any of you sent it yet? Did you recieve
> anything?
I've sent it off but had nothing back. Its FREE to send off, so you might aswell spend a few mintues filling it out. You will probably be sent free demo disks and other stuff by sending the form back.
