I didn't forget!
@JimTheDog: Should have sorted you billing now and you'll get a credit on the next bill.
I will have to chase the usage with the supplier as the figure we have matches what they have so the issue, if there is one, must be their side.
Do either of you have a router or software that logs the usage on the WAN side? Just asking as it may help to show that the figure is way off. At the moment it's about 15GB higher than the last month before moving tariffs.
Re Billing: Excellent - thank you.
Re Usage stats: I'll check when I get home this evening.

Just checked and my stats for last month are showing 70 odd GB's as well, which is clearly incorrect. As the data allocation on this connection is unlimited though I don't suppose it should matter (presume connections are never throttled even if these untrue usage levels exceed a certain amount?).
Connection itself has still been fine. It's a tad slower than my BT connection was but this is only detectable by tests, in use it seems the same TBH. It's very stable, unrestricted and cheaper so overall I'm pretty pleased with it. I still seem to be getting billed at the old price though but have raised this so I'm sure that will be sorted soon. BTW I don't suppose there's any news on whether this tariff will be available on Fibre anytime in the near future?
Re usage: The >70Gb usage flagged up a slight concern that someone was using my broadband. However, if yours is showing a similar figure then I presume it's just a reporting issue.
Re Billing: I noticed that too. I thought it was just a hangover from changing tariff mid-billing-period.

Doesn't sound similar to me?!?
There is a connection but I'm just giving up ... carry on
Sorry if I wasn't clear Pete.
I was just questioning why my usage was showing a single figure of over 70Gb when the most I ever got through on my old tariff was about 20Gb (and that was during one Christmas). I can't check this as all of my old usage stats have now gone since the tariff change.
JTD's connection/speed is fine, he's just querying the usage report. Am I missing something?
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Connection seems to be going well.
One small question though... The broadband details and usage section no longer shows a breakdown by date. My 'block' usage figure for this month is over 70Gb. I have never got anywhere near that figure in the past - any chance of showing a breakdown so I can investigate the heavy usage?
Pete - does this reflect anything you're seeing?
Hi JTD ... this sounds similar to what happened to me recently, not on your tariff though ...
