Many of the cheats I have read in the forum obviously are taken from a web site. Thus they probably work fine with the US or Jap versions, but not the UK version! Clever developers want to make the game fresh for each region, so alter the cheats. And there is nothing worse than some copying git writing down an american cheat!
Ever since we gave cheats GAD's we had the same problem...
