EG SONIC, MARIO AND ZELDA and with the new game starfox on the way as well I know where my money is going and it aint with Microsoft....
Another rumour I have heard is that programmers like developig fot he cube but the xbox is extremely hard to master for developing games and I rection they will give up and concentrate on the CUBE.
Whats your Opinion ?
Anyway, it all depends on the Developer. It's true that the PS2 is harder to program games to (I'm not techno whiz so I can't say why) and I've not heard any developers opinions on programming for the X-box, but I'm almost certain that EA said they preferred to develop for the GameCube.
Developers grew up, and studied at university, coding for PC architecture. Modern developers are taught extensively to code for the Windows API (in all it's reincarnations). The Windows PC is the primary platform for software development, and more often than not, game development. You should know as well as I do, most of the games released on, example, the Playstation, appeared on the PC also. Why do you think this is? Because the developers know the Windows and Direct X API incredibly well, making porting games over very easy. Also, there are a lot more exclusive PC games, than there are console games, reinforcing my point that developers prefer to code for the PC.
Now the XBox is basically a console under PC architecture. Making it very easy to develop games for. Now this is not my opinion, it has also been said by many games developers, some of which have abided by Microsoft for the future.

Got a cold?
Great topic.
My opinion is this. When a game is released on all 3 formats, I will make the judgement myself to see which version is the superior. I will then hopefully not have to purchase another console, but if the GC's version is the one, I will have to get one, discarding whatever else I may or may not own.
As for Mark Lawrenson's moustach? It's coming off!
