I've got this picture and I want it as a background on my webpage that fill's up the whole screen.
How do i do this?
I use Adobe Photo Deluxe and Microsoft Photo Editor.
Any ideas?

1st Page is very good, i use it on expert mode because everything is how you know it and need it. The tags can easily be put in automatically and and the javascript wizard is amazing!

I use 1st Page in Expert mode. I find it the most usable. You can fully customise it - I recommend binding ctrl+p to

- and you can get rid of the navigation thing too. However, on large resolutions that nav is very useful.

CSS is a way of defining elements, in the same way you use and tags. However, it's alot lighter than HTML and you have much more control over the presentation. It's also supported by IE 3.x and above.

CSS is easily learnable, but actual references are hard to get hold of and it's slightly complicated in places. I've always used the CSS editor built in to DW (fantastic, really it is), although you can get perfectly good ones from download.com.

is that it?...nice?

I can't get used to that 1st Page yet, just looked at them, easy, expert, harcore and normal, they look weird, I hate that navigation on the left.

Whys it different to Frontpage except for the fact of the layout and that it's not made by MS

Shall we start the 1st Page appreciation society then??

Frontpage extensions are for things like hit counters, forms, forums, stuff like that..

I use 1st Page 2000 so that's probably the one I told you to get. Everyone is right, it does rule. I've used Frontpage before when I was beginning, not bad if you have no HTML knowledge but it was soon out of the window once I got my grubby paws on Dreamweaver. Now, I never use Dreamweaver because I have 1st Page 2000.

god? sorry I meant good..eek, hope you won't hold that against me.

Also why do you need the extensions for Frontpage? I didn't think they did much.

My answer was good Turbonutter? *is flattered* it was a hard problem to solve.

Anyway, frontpage is still god, I like it more than Dreamweaver, simpler.

Gabbo told me to download First Page or 1st Page the other day, not sure which one....i'll go check....me needs another good program, didn't know everyone rated it so much.
