Well has anyone ever heard of "Wrestling's most gruesome matches" on tape???
I certainly have and have bought all 4 volumes.
Does anyone like gruesome matches though before i go on about them??
The sick things you would see in CZW , ECW and Japan??
Things like dropping people dead on thier head and you see thier neck snap. Or when Sid Viceous (sp?) broke his leg that time.
Things like that.
Well anyway,
I think stuff like that is sometimes funny but really sick but for some weird reason i like it.
I like the normal wrestling and stuff but its cool watching things going wrong resulting in broken bodies and blood flying all over the place.
These video's are awesome, it shows matches never shown on TV because of its violence and extreme stuff that thw wrestlers do.
Jumping off trucks, flying off scaffolds through dozens of tables, smashing weapons into wrestlers, doing outlandish wrestling moves from balcony's.
oh its really good.
barbed wire matches, scaffold matches, lightbulb matches, mouse traps & tacks & glass & salt matches.
i just cant believe how extreme these guys are and how crazy the things they are doing.
at one point someone gets a pair of scissors and rips open this guys arm about 15cm and about 3cm deep.
oh man, you should watch these.
they are cool but sick but still cool.

They've released about 30-odd DVDs, and

May 98 - 6 DVD's
May 99 - 12 DVD's
May 00 - 18 DVD's
Jan 01 - 26

Thats what they are currently releasing. Yes they HAVE done all their PPVs, but between 1996 and 2001 ECW put on loads of these 'super-cards' so there are probably more to come.

They've released about 30-odd DVDs, and there won't be many more now. Their first Pay-Per-View was Barely Legal 1997 (May 1997) and they have events every 2 months, so there's only 6 events a year.

So, the entire PPV collection is 26, and then there are a few others like Hostile City Showdown and Cyberslam which were regular shows, but special ones which were extended and had more matches on.

Thats the one Jet. Pretty brutal wasn't it?

I've heard of SST, but never dealt with them. I think that 8 quid really is quite good for a wrestling tape and the fact that there's no P&P charge is even better. They look like a legit site, so I say give em a go, and if one works, trade condfidently next time. Some gimpish foreign guy ripped me off of an event that I need to complete my collection (only need 3 to have every WWF event). However, some other site actually rated him very highly, which I find a bit odd. He claims he sent the tape out three times, but that has to be bollards.
'You should get it on DVD really as you can then go straight to the decent matches.'
Yeah, forget any time wasting fast forwarding through reams of video, with DVD it takes 2 clicks to get from the menu to the match of your choice.
'Who thinks they might want them?
I could try to get them for cheap but im not sure.
Either ask here if you are serious or e-mail me at [email protected] ( feel free to spam me guys :D )'
Why don't you just run off copies of your tapes so you make the money instead and don't have to waste any? That's what I do, and it rules. Note: never deal with Ice Blaster, he haggled like a biyatch. He got a tape off me for 4 quid - never again!
'Just bought ECW's born to be Wired '97, which has only just been released on DVD due to the gruesome nature of the main event.'
I've seen the cover art of it on Play.com a few weeks before release, and I had no idea why it took so long to come out. What other matches are on it then (Play don't list all the matches), as I want to know if it's worth getting.
'Sabu also broke his Jaw in a match and he carried on by taping his jaw together! Crazy.'
I've heard some stuff like that. Also, if he gets cut in a match, afterwards, he goes backstage and glues the wounds back together. Ever wondered why his cuts and scars look so big? That's the glue...
'I heard that games gunna be called ECW Destruction, but that was ages ago.'
I heard that also, but I guess it's been scrapped now with the situation of ECW.
*Sabu's arm breaks*
Now get me a metallic arm damnit! :D>D>D>D (quadrouple chin :D)
