Mine ahs to be either an old Simpsons Fighting Force clone in an arcade, or some other arcade game. or probably a Tekken game, or Resident evil 1. What be yours, fine folk of the Fog Chat?

My earlist would have to be playing dizzy on the spectrum. i use to love playing it even though i hardly got any where as i was not very good at computer games then and i had to use a joystick which i still cant use now.

Bird Strike and Ollie The Octopus on the BBC Micro stick out in my mind. ;-))

The sad thing is, I still clearly remember the tune to the Bird Strike title screen which took like an hour to load from the cassette. ;-))

That is incredible!!! Last Summer I got a job in a hotel, doing the washing up etc. and in their game room it had four of those machines! It had two (I think) Space invaders ones, and two that I think I am right in saying were two player Pong games!!! I had to polish them a few times, and I was really tempted to give them a go :D

That'll be Sonic on the GameGear then, although I'm sure I would've played Tetris on a GB before that, I just can definitely remember it.

I started gaming when i was 5 so if he was 5 when he played his first game and that was tekkan that would make him 11.
