Well, I went down Oxford St today and managed to play on the Nintendo Gamecube - and I have to say it was excellent. The machine - it's *soooo* small!

I had the opportunity to play on Rogue Leader, Luigi's Mansion, and Waverace. All three games look supurb, with Rogue Leader being the one I enjoyed playing the most today. Luigi's Mansions "feels" better then I thought it would, and I think I might get it at launch now, however short it's meant to be.

My one gripe with the new console from our favourite company is that in my opinion, the controller is slightly too small! My hands actually hurt after my intense gameplay sesh - hopefully I won't suffer the effects of prolonged Gamecube gameplay once I finally get my hands on my own machine.

Anyway - the fact of the matter is that the Gamecube will rock - no doubt about it :)

I also like the Orange/Spice colour but we don't get it on launch but I should have my Orange controller from Canada in time to go with (hopefully) my black gamecube and controller !

I agree, the GCN controller is easily the best of the three, and the machine itself (the black one anyway) looks the best of the three, and is most practical in terms of space.

I hate the purple colour though - it looks like a dirty and washed out kinda' purple...blargh!

The Cubes controller is the best out of the next gen consoles and the cube itsself looks the best out of the three.

Oh hell yeah, the Z button isn't nearly as important as on the N64.

That's true.. the Z button could be a little awkward, and the B button from what I remember might be a little too small..

Time will tell!
