"Physical Problem - Need Help/Advise"

Unlike many other problems brought up on this forum mine is quite diffrent and may not actually be a problem, I just need to find out what on earth it is.

It's probably natural and just a scare which most of us get at young age. I've had a health scare before but was reassured by my Dad that it was ok after I put up the guts to show him after months of worrying.

Now another physical problem has come up, I noticed it a few months back & just told myself it was nothing. but now I ask for you help to find out if it is anything.

There is a small circular lump about the size of my fingertip on the side of the top of my left theigh region. It's kind of in the position between the very top of uoi theigh and your top private parts, the bit that attachs the two regions. Oh hold on...as I feel theres another one on above it, little bigger, diffrent in shape. So theres two and I can only see/feel them if I feel around the area which they are in, they are not visable. Yet theres nothing on the other side?!?

If any of you could, please feel in this area for me to see if you have this too and if anyone knows what it is please help to stop me worrying.

It may be a hernia............... theres nothing wrong with them i dont think because my mate has got two of them just above his belly button and has had them for ages and they dont do anything to him.

Well i dont think they do anyway.

I think I know what it might be...

If it's where I think it is, then there's a chance that it might be a hernia, which isn't cancerous or anything like that, it's just popping through a tear in the muscular wall.

The way to check is to put your fingers over it and cough and if it moves out the it's probably a hernia.

I'm no doctor though, so the best thing is to go and get it checked out.

I had a lump on my testicle.

Turned out to just be a sist in the end. Sheepy's got the same thing. It's strangely common how many people do end up with some sort of lump at some stage.

But usually, it turns out to be nothing. Best to get it checked though, really.

MWA, I had a lump on my thigh once and it was muscular. It usually only happens in adults but I got kicked there playing football, and the tissue sort of formed into a lump.

It's probably not that because you haven't mentioned hurting yourself there, but my guess would be that it is just muscular. Go see a doctor anyway, it's what I did.
