And anyway, as Ashley just pointed out in his topic, around 2000 years ago a significantly more important death happened, when Jesus was killed on the cross.
Some of you will probably snigger or laugh off posts like mine and Ashley's, but the truth is Jesus' death HAS had an effect on your life. After all, nearly all of you will be celebrating Easter tomorrow, right? Or is it just an excuse for everyone to pig out on chocolate, like it is with presents at Christmas??

At first when I heard the news as I wasn't that shocked but was in some way glad because she lived 102 years. She was the queen for a time in which she sympathised with the Nazis. She did stay in her PALACE during the war while others were starving and dying. She was very stuck-up and I didn't repsect her in any way. She lived a life of luxury in which she stayed alive to 102 whilst skiping everyone in the health queue.
My original post was awful and I ahd lost my argument before I began, I apoligize. I have since then posted more posts in my normal way. I in no way put down anybody elese views and morals but can question them. But when I start to get person comments calling me ignorant and too young to understand I start to get angry. I am a member of Amnesty International for crying out loud. I believe the royal family serves no purpose and I think it's a shame that many people need to look up to somebody in a way and choose them.

Ah, but Bin Laden is a truly evil person. Although she may be lucky, I wouldn't exactly say the Queen Mother was evil.

Well, from what I've heard, the Queen Mother was a very kind and caring woman.
My family are certainly not royalists, but my parents were both shocked to hear she was dead. Maybe you don't like the Royalists Sheepy, but I would hardly say that means you have "better morals and views" than everyone else.
She obviously did quite a lot for our country, and yes I feel angry when I see her getting new hips all the time and my Nan who is 98 years old has a shattered one and can't get up from her hospital bed.
