it should be something like 200 days 500 posts and 20,000 word that should happen because the newbies that become regular allways spam like j-42 is now a regular i think and he has bearly been hear

It took me 60 days to become a regular. I think that should count for everyone, because my Regular hood took a lot of posting good stuff, and by the time I was regular I was forum-mature enough to be accepted as a regular.

Not strictly true.... you don't win a GAD if you are not a member - you win a membership subscription plus free gift instead.

It didn't used to be this way, and I also believed the old system was better, but this seems to be the way they are happy with things now.

What there should be (on and entirely unrelated topic) is some system that lets people still win GAD's without being a member. If I won a GAD and was not a member (which I am not, I was once though and I recollect fond memories of my free N64 controller) the annoyance would annoy me no end.

What if you regularly visit every two days, or something like that?

No, what you really need is an accurate distribution function for the evaluation of post and word density. You would then have some sort of polynomial equation combining your post distribution score with your total time, posts and words since registration to get an overall regularity rating, which would be used to determine when you become regular.
