However that was until I played Need for Speed Hot Pursuit2, the two player mode on this game is awesome with cop pursuits on both players, it has stinger traps, helicopters with missiles and bombs. You can also play the cop and setup your own road blocks and stingers.
It is a very well thought out game that has finally produced a quality need for speed game, it looks good and plays even better.
Rolls on floor, fingering edible leper?

Silly me. Spelt it wrong.
It's actually José.
:c)

As I said in the post you obviously didn't read fully "I ONLY PLAYED THE DEMO" which didn't have any kind of damage in whatsoever. Besides, the more I think about it, the more NFS seems like a pale imitation of Burnout 2, my opinion of course.

Try putting the traffic settings up to max. There loads of crashes and I used about 5 cars on it, and each gets damage if u crash it to much. What about "I'm the Cop mode - where you can call for roadblocks to be set up, and even bring the Cop copter in. I find the "Challenge" mode to be the best option - you seem to get more action and get to unlock new cars.
The graphics are slightly crapper, there's no crashes or damage, there's hardly any traffic despite the tracks being set on supposedly busy roads, and there's stupid bullet time effects thrown in which is very disorientating considering the speeds you can reach.
It's a good game, and I plan to get it some time, as I'm a fan of the NFS series, but better than Burnout 2, don't make me laugh.
