According to someone on the boards over at OXM's official site, Blinx is being released this friday.

Cheers Mantis, I take it you were talkngi about Deathrow? I have read the IGN review and a few others and they said it uses the Dolby Digital capabiltites very well and it is one to look out for. I am going to take a look at Deathrow and maybe add it to my most wanted list :) The game looks really good and very original.
Not really into platformers so I'll probably give Blinx a miss, but the footage of it on Quantum redshift looks good. Sounds good to play awell but I'm not sure about the 10minute time limit on every level.
Looking toward Friday I'm really looking forward to getting the new issue of OXM with Splinter Cell demo(ohh yea) and Deathrow.
Now gamespot and IGN have gave deathrow high scores which makes me interested in it. Look at

Well they designed the sonic character anyway. ;-)
I suspect that the 9.3 score OXM gave BLINX is going to be just a bit generous, but I'll still be buying it on release day.
Apparently it's more of a strategy/puzzler than a typical exploration platformer, which I think is actually more appealing.

No doubt I'll grab Blinx on release day, but I wouldn't say its the second best game on X-Box.
