I've been going on about it for years, but not until now am I taking it seriously.

For the past few months I have been making plans of a very awsome robot (even if I do say so myself). I have found plenty of good scrap yards to get bits and pieces for the robot, and my dad knows quite a bit about technology, electronics and all that stuff. But the one problem I'm facing is money, (if we had enough money, we'd probably nearly have the robot finished by now).

Oh yes, and it seems I have a bit of competition from another boy in my class. He's building a robot too, and he actually has the money, so he's way ahead of me! He's sent away the aplication form, got his reply, and he's in the middle of building it! I 'd better hurry up or he's gonna beet me to it.

Anyway, about my robot. It's called "Jawzz". It's shaped a lot like Tornado (a low, box shape that runs both ways up) and it has wedges sticking out of the back and sides to prevent itself getting stuck if flipped. It's weapons are two, horisontally placed crushing jaws (hence the name) at the front, that close into the opponent's sides, trapping it and then crushing it. I'm also thinking of adding a pneumatic ram placed just under the jaws. But this isn't just any old ram, this one's special. It opens up once it has pierced the opponent, and then as it starts to come backin, it will take the opponent with it, and once it's close enough, the mighty crushing jaws can do their thing.

I'm thinking of calling my team "Team Chomp". :D

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
