its the only film ive been to that has made me laugh all the way through.
some really really funny parts too along with some gross parts
i definately recommend this.
just one question,
anyone from the area (i think it must be london) staines............thats also seen this film,
is it really like what it shows in the film about the "eastside" and "westside" having big gangs that hate eachother and often cause mayhem and so on????????
people with big rings saying "east/west side" going round with big guns and stuff??????
Rock.
It comes up with a 15 originally but then Ali G comes along, crosses out the 15 and changes it to 18. Saying somthin like I aint no batty boy.
If you know about the thing with tu-pac and Nortorious B.I.G then you might know what I'm on about,if not...
There were two record companies
Eastside(Tu-Pac)
and Westside(B.I.G)
They were really big rivals and were both involved in someway with gangs(serious gun toting ones)
Tu-Pac was shot to death and a few months later B.I.G was killed to death as well.
If that didn't make sense then watch VH-1's 100 most shocking moments in music..its around no.20 "The murder of Tu-Pac"
i was only messing about that one but is
> there a rivalry between the two sides east & west in real life?
Hmmmmmm I would guess so...if there is it's stupid. Is there also one for North & South then? Or how about South-East & North West?
> I'll anwser your question though I don't live In London...
I think the film
> was exaggerating the whole gang thing a bit much, I don't think it is legal for
> people to be walking around with big guns, do you?
