EU Fines Nintendo
According to Reuters, the EU are fining Nintendo and their European distributors next week for breaking antitrust regulations with it's sales practices in the mid-90's. They were accused in 2000 of limiting cross-border flow of their products to raise wholesale prices as retailers could only order from the distributors for their country and couldn't import cheaper goods.
Unsurprisingly this is bad for Nintendo's stock prices. This coupled with them reducing their GameCube sales forecasts has made their stock prices drop 19% in the last month.

As is Resident Evil..? Sorry, I just don't like Silent Hill because it just did what Resident Evil did.. again. Games like Eternal Darkness I can accept, as they add new things, but if it's just regurgitating someone else's idea then I don't find it worth getting.
I find Silent Hill 2 a better game then RE, as its a psychological thriller, atmospheric, scary and challenging.
Sorry garbe, but that's not true. CAPCOM have a contract with Nintendo for six exclusive games, so you won't be seeing any on X-Box. As for Silent Hill, it's just a clone of Resident Evil really.

Apparently after Resident Evil Zero Capcom are going to release Resident Evil games for the Xbox as well! Not a great gain as Silent Hill 2 in my opinion is equally as good as Resident Evil on the Gamecube! I think that the first Resident Evil game to be released on the Xbox is Resident Evil 4 which will be based around on-line play?!
Although Capcom are a Microsoft third/Second party developer aswell.
And who'd heard of Rare until Goldeneye? Eternal Darnkess and Metroid Prime will be, in a way, the Goldeneye's for Silicon Knights and Retro Studios. Personally, I value CAPCOM as a Nintendo second party developer MUCH more than Rare.
Ive never even heard of Silicon knights until the other day...
Is it me or is there something funny in the way that Silicon Knights and Retro are supposedly just as classy as Rare - and yet they hardly got a mention until Rare jumped ship. ;-))
